Brent McCullough-Phillips

Rockefeller Archive Center
Audiovisual Archivist
Sleepy Hollow, NY

(He/him) I primarily manage, safeguard, and preserve rare film, video, and sound recordings from the Rockefeller Archive Center collections. I enjoy making unique content accessible to today's researchers -- be they young or old! Recently, we began developing an educational program aimed to help develop media literacy skills in elementary school children by using archival audiovisual material. In 2014, I wrote the LAMBDA nominated biography "Charles Walters: The Director Who Made Hollywood Dance," published by The University Press of Kentucky. Talk to me about audiovisual preservation, access, or educational outreach. Additionally, I'm always happy to talk about your dogs or the Irish language. Ní neart go cur le chéile, mo chairde.
